Calmador, I'm not exactly what you are trying to say - it sounds a bit conflicted.  You can feel about anything you want to feel and your Church can do what it wants.  But if you were to act in a way to hurt others, then yea, you would get called evil.

But unfortunately many people that call themselves Christians going around trying to bully others, rewrite history, and destroy anyone that they perceive as different from them.  Look at how a few people that called themselves Christians sponsored things like Prop 8 - merely to dissolve the legal definition some marriages, which would deny the legal definition of some families and take away existing civil rights.  Even the US Supreme Court ruled that DOMA was designed to:

"DOMA's unusual deviation from the usual tradition of recognizing and accepting state definitions of marriage here operates to deprive same-sex couples of the benefits and responsibilities that come with the federal recognition of their marriages. This is strong evidence of a law having the purpose and effect of disapproval of that class. The avowed purpose and practical effect of the law here in question are to impose a disadvantage, a separate status and so a stigma upon all who enter into same-sex marriages made lawful by the unquestioned authority of the States."

They like to spin that it is and attack on 'freedom of religion’ but religions are always free in the USA to do what they want.  Some don't marry divorced people, some don't marry people of mixed race, no Church, Rabbit, Priest or similar is going to be forced to marry a gay couple.  Yet a few complain like they are and they go around trying to force their interpretation of religious code into the government.  If you do that, then yea, that is really hateful and you would get called bad things.  (Just like if anyone else was trying to destroy your family - I think you might get mad.)

Even today people are trying to say that the USA is a 'Christian Nation.'  I like to remind them that no, we are not, we were but on July 4th, 1776 we ceded from England and separated the Church from the Government.  The USA is a secular nation with freedom of and from religion.

I just pointed out that many of the people going around calling themselves ‘Christian’ act in a way very different from how Christ acted. I do hope you act  more like the second.

It was somewhat of a  rant too.

If someone calling themeselves a Christian hurts people on unjustified reasons (like self-defence) than those actions are clearly not based of God's word.

By the way, when it comes to same-sex marriage, I'm against it. I think that marriage should be defined as between a man and a woman. I thought Prop 8 was okay. It was a legal and justified proposition. The issue is about doing the right thing.

I've heard of people saying that churches will be forced to marry gay people. It might be true, or not. I am interested in finding out what that's about but I think a lot Christians out there are simplying voting thier social values and there's nothing wrong with that. Similair to environmentalists in the green party... people from that party are voting thier social values.

Nobody is forcing anybody. People accuse Christian voters of forcing thier beliefs they are following procedures that everyone uses. The environmentalist believes the envorinment should be a priority and nobody says.. HEY THOSE ENVORINMENTALISTS ARE FORCING THEIR BELIEFS ON US. Yes they have thier beliefs and you know what you do too. So, why does the Christian get labeled as "forcing" people? Because that's just a favorite way to make Christians look bad when they're just fine.

You want to know what forcing beliefs are... go to the middle east and be ready to choose between your life and Islam. Christians forcing people into thier beliefs is unheard of... its an exaggeration. You don't see Christians with guns running around but you do see them in the voting booths, next to the environmentalist, the buddhist, the liberal, the feminist... but nooo only Christians are forcing.. not the others.

I'm trying to open your eyes. Do you see what I mean? Do you see how unfair and wrong that is?

I don't know about the Christian nation thing. Sure, I'd say we are a Christian nation since the vast majority of Americans seem to be Christian. I think we'd have to turn a blind eye not to think of our nation, when it comes to religion, as a Christain nation.

Jesus Christ is actually against homosexuality.

Matthew 19:4-6

Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate

Jesus defines marriage here.

Jesus diciple Paul... the one who was put in charge of the Church after Jesus went back to heaven. Here is what Paul wrote on homosexuality...

Romans 1:24-27

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

Voting against same-sex marriage are my social values and as a Christian and an American, I know its perfectly okay to do that.

All gaming systems, consoles/PC, have thier perks... why fight over preferences? I like Coke and you like Pepsi, that's it, let's not fight over which toy we like best cause that's what they are. Is someone's preference in a toy important or is the relationship between you and your neighbor more important? Answer is obvious, but THE most important thing is your relationship with God almighty. God Bless you in Jesus's name.

I can communicate without talking... I can send a loved one money without actually sending money... and I can commit theft without the product disappearing, the point of theft is the point of theft not one of it's possible symptoms which is the product dissappearing. The thief wants to gain something without paying for it, that's the point of theft, the thief doesn't have to care or anybody else has to care if the product dissappears. The product dissappearing is just a possible symptom of theft. Gifts are sacrfices, in order to give a gift, it has to be a genuine sacrfice/gift, meaning a copy of the game isn't still in your PC. Piracy is theft and/or being a culprit of theft.
