In terms of moving consoles this title will help to build the momentum of the 360 even further for this christmas period... Halo then GTAIV is a big hitting combo, and perhaps the biggest hitting combo for the entire market this year for that demographic.
The 16 - 25 y/o's are going to scoop up 360's at previously un-seen rates and the PS3 will get a pretty massive boost as well I believe... however this is the only release for PS3 that has large system selling potential. It will get a hardware boost for sure, but it hurts that it is multi-platform.
No one can say with any certainty they know what will happen in the long run... who knows who will have the largest base at the end and this but that will be the platform that sells the most copies of this game.
Isn't it interesting that a game we know hardly anything about, and NO one has played is already a gauranteed hit by name and developer alone?
