Vita has more resale value, if you look at it that way. Also if you have PS Plus you get a Vita Instant Game Collection. But of course the number 1 question to you should be? Do you care a lot for Halo, Gears or Forza?    Nevermind, you said you don't care for shooters. That settles it, get the Vita.
