once again disc should have never existed in the first place..... but you can play any game on DVD... heck it could be on old school floppy disc and still work as long as you have an HDD to install it to.... using disc is plain stupid beside an economical advantage.... whether it is a CD a DVD a BR..... and playing from disc is even more stupid....
the DVD vs BR argument is plain uber stupid.... both solution are retarded in this century.... granted BR has the edge in capacity.... once again we'd be better off with all DD or other forms of flash memory than anything ever invented on a versatile disc.....
