Fine... I just didn't give proof because I think that was already know... any Halo forum/community knows that... even the hardcore activity players talk about that.
Using the Hour Population (http://halocharts.com/2012/chart/totalpopulation/all) I created this graph.
This gaph show a number bigger than Unique Users to make the comparision "fair" to Halo 4... Week 151 was mid april.
Now the Unique Users for Reach in the same time period.
And why not Halo 3... for May 2008 because I don't have April 2008.
