It may be a huge market but is it one that will buy their games? Most Indie games start out between 9.99-14.99. How well do games at those prices sell? I believe every game on the top 100 games sold on Android is 4.99 or less, Minecraft being the exception at 6.99. That would be a pretty hard sell to an indie developer to have to design the game to work on so many different devices with ouy a decent return on it. I just dont see games priced in that range being something that mobile users or even Windows 8 app users as something that will justify the work put in on it.

Why? Xbox Indie Games currently start at $1.00. By offering a game via Windows 8 Apps Store, then updating the code for Xbox One, they could provide the same features with minimal code changes.

Thank you for providing information that has been repeated numerous times on here. Still doesnt answer all the issues though

You asked:
It may be a huge market but is it one that will buy their games?
You then go on to say:
Most Indie games start out between 9.99-14.99. How well do games at those prices sell?
and finally
I believe every game on the top 100 games sold on Android is 4.99 or less, Minecraft being the exception at 6.99.
If Xbox LIVE Indie Games range sell when priced between $1.00 and $10.00, then what do you you expect will happen if the game is available on Xbox One, Windows 8, or Windows Phone 8? Do you think they won't sell if they already sell?
One of the most popular games on Indie Games is "I made a game with Zombies in it" with over 308,000 copies sold. Another extremely popular game, FotressCraft, sold 750,000 units. So, yes. I think there is a market for independent developers to create inexpensive games.
What other question do you ask that wasn't answered in my original comment? You already stated that the best selling games sell for less then $10.00 on Android phones. I stated Xbox Indie Games start out at $1.00. Thus, by logical extension, Xbox Live Indie Games would sell well. Since me saying it probably isn't good enough for you, I gave you some examples of how well some of the indie games have sold. Self-published.

Yes, I don't think they will sell even if they already sell. Its 2 completely different gaming markets, the types of games that sell on phone don't normally sell well on consoles and vice versa. OK, half of them meet the price range that sell well on mobile devices. But meeting the right price doesn't mean they will sell well, there is no logical extension to be made there, only that they have a better potential to sell than games that are more expensive.
When i said it doesn't answer all the issues I wasnt just referring to what I was saying. Plus if what the one thing that was posted is true, there is no self publishing on Xbox One, that makes for an even bigger problem for indies as that is one of the things they want to be able to do.
