What would be the point? People should've realized the deluded concept of God the moment their children got sent to war every 20 years and died over government trickery. 

It certainly is tragic that people die in meaningless wars, there's no question about that. The alternative would be to force people not to be greedy and selfish via taking our free will, and that would be a more unjust God in my opinion.

Regardless, evil in the world doesn't logically rule out the existance of a God, no matter how you feel emotionally.
