I personally am happy we are seeing so many forms of hardware again designed for gamers. Razer Edge Tablet, Razer Blade laptop, Ouya, Nvidia Shield, Moga Pro controller for Android and Windows Pohone...

You think any of that stuff will sell? Even Shield?

I personally don't think about if it will sell or not. I like playing with hardware, interfaces and different ideas about what gaming should be like.

We have to keep in mind that each company defines success differently. These companies may not even need to sell a million units to have a successful product.

Razer for example couldn't make enough Razer Edge Pro tablets initially- http://liliputing.com/2013/03/razer-edge-pro-1300-gaming-tablet-pre-orders-paused-to-catch-up-with-demand.html

It also is getting very good reviews for the Razer Blade laptop - http://www.theverge.com/2013/7/2/4486190/razer-blade-review-14-inch

Ouya is sold out as far as we know, as even some Kickstarter backups havent gotten their kits yet. Its also funded with 8.5 million kickstarter money. If they sell 100,000 units, they should be financially successful.

Nvidia Shield is an odd one due to price and limited market it caters to, but its most likely the one I will be buying.
