Must be tiring having to downplay every news article since May, truly amazed at some peoples stamina to find reasons why every media outlets opinions doesn't matter. You really think the general public are just blind to everything and even on the day they go to buy a new console, there gonna go, "yes ill take the most expensive console on sale please!"
These people that don't visit gaming forums, well guess what they also don't have brand loyalties, and they will still listen to or read some media before going out to make a purchase and on the whole they will get what the main stream media is saying is the must have item and in some cases what there nerdy friend tells them is the one to go for. There is going to be few that won't go for the cheaper more powerful one.
Course XOne is still going to sell, there are die hard halo fans, forza fans etc. Those that are so rich they will just buy all 3 consoles. and of course those like myself over the life of any gen end up getting at least a second console at some point.
