It looks that they improved a lot the shadows. They had a lot of aliasing on GT5 and it created a unconfortable effect when in motion. Shadows are subtle now, a much needed improvement.
The only downside of the demo version is some framerate drops in specific locations. Of course, something expected from beta code.
