1. Did Microsoft and their billions of dollars help the X360 stave of the PS3 in terms of total sales?
2. The combination of power was always correlated with a high price. NeoGeo, 3DO, PS3. The PS4 is a power machine (not even in the real sense, 2010 parts at best) and is comparable in price to the current competition. Wii U (50 dollars more) and the upcoming X1 (100 dollars less)
3. Has the current price of the PS3 (which still retails for 260+ US) hinder Sony ability to compete with Microsoft or Nintendo on any level. For most pundits the PS3 had the worst console launch. Somehow for the PS4 though, with its better position in just about everything, oh that this time it will become a MAJOR issue OMGIES. *sigh*
