They are not advertised and available in only a few places. I'd say it is not bad. You can't even buy the Samsung chromebook because it is constantly sold out, they are just produced in limited quantities. RT had a massive advertising campaign, shared with w8.
Android will be on a lot of form factors soon, laptops included. There are rumors that the next version will have better support for screens bigger than 10.1 inches.
