| Final-Fan said: Here's the thing, though: having a die-hard community raring to try out LBP is a GREAT thing for a game that needs users to put content into the system. If they can help build a good level-building community, then that will make a better experience for more casual gamers who try it out, who will recommend it to friends etc. I'm the first to admit that this game would seem better suited for the Wii, but it's going to PS3 and I think it'll do great. 2D platforming FTW! Honestly, where else can we get our fix on current-gen home consoles? Don't say Virtual Console! |
Eh, that's the same thing peole were saying about Zack and Wiki though. I mean where else could one indulge their point and click wants?
I'm just worried this will be the next Z&W. Highly reviewed and unbelievably overhyped by the interent (from a sales perspective.)
Though it does seem like they actually plan to push it. Lets hope it gets at least half the advertising Heavenly Sword did.
Me I don't care that much. I'm not likely to use anyone's online stages and I don't care if people play my stages or not. I'd just build a lot of levels for me and my own personal friends.
Also... Paper Mario pretty much counts as far as 2-D platforming goes. You have to go 3-D at times but it seems minimal.
