the bible says in habakkuk 2:2 - "write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it" or from the NLV "so that a runner can carry the correct message to others."
his vision was as blurry as an old man with cataract in one eye. while if you only look through the good eye you can see the benefits but its like they threw sand in the good eye forcing you to look out the bad. how many mix messages did we get? how many no messages did we get?
