Aaaaaa Chrono Cross... I love that game, this thread bring back good memories. In my opinion CC is better than Trigger.

Look dude, it's better to just accept the facts and stop denying reality. Chrono Cross was the worst game ever created in all of human history. The facts simply speak for themselves.

Anyway, I guess I'll add more since Chrono Cross is absolutely the worst game ever made in all of history. It simply cannot be denied. Heck, ET, the game that caused the infamous gaming crash is a superior game to Chrono Cross.

The entire premise of Chrono Cross makes no sense. I don't just mean the lack of an actual goal or purpose throughout the entire story but how they marketed it. The back of the box claims that it's a sequel when the producer repeatedly said it wasn't a sequel despite all the Chrono Trigger references, rehashes of CT's subplots into less interesting and outright stupid formats, and terrible tacked-on elements to try and make it more like CT.
Overall, it was just a bad attempt at a sequel and the worst game to ever be created.

Serge simply has no motivation and cannot express any feelings despite being called to it. This becomes damning to the point of gross stupidity as characters repeatedly ask for his opinion despite the fact that he can't give any response besides "..." in such scenes.

Kid being a "daughter-clone" is just a laughably stupid explanation. It doesn't even make sense and is inherently contradictory. She is either a clone or she isn't. Furthermore, it's pretty sad how forceful they are in making her a mary-sue and appear blameless in every horrific action that she takes. From wanting to kill you to thievery and hell, she's probably a prostitute considering the terrible and facepalm worthy backstory. They force her on you at every given instance and she's technically immortal with her self-reset powers. And really, after the poisoning and stabbing, it's obvious that none of the characters were really going to die and especially not the main heroine. Doing that would've been something interesting and engaging like FF7 and Chrono Cross is the opposite of everything fun.

Some of the names were just stupid. Luccia is apparently a friend of Lucca's.... Here are two problems, Lucca was homeschooled by her father as no such university of learning ever existed in Chrono Trigger and no such thing exists in Chrono Cross because Viper's academy is for military training and not scientific learning. Even if it did, it couldn't have been the place they learned because El Nido Archipelago didn't even exist until after Chrono Trigger supposedly happened.

The letter Lucca gave Kid makes absolutely no sense. The first part is about how imperative it is that Lucca essentially writes her last will in testament in hopes that Kid understands the dangers. The latter half consists of a good luck and that she'll share important information with Kid later... despite the fact that this is suppose to be her last letter before her imminent death.

The destruction of Guardia and deaths of the CT cast do not even make sense. Some warlord from some other timeline came to help the goofey idiot from the Antiquity era. Some warlord is more powerful than Lavos? Really? That doesn't even make sense. It isn't even elaborated upon further. Just something we're expected to believe. Furthermore, the darkness beyond time concept makes no sense. Why would people in the erased future want to come back when in CT they clearly expressed wanting to just die? Masato Kato obviously never had any real part of the story. I even doubt his claims of making the 600 AD era. I think he just robbed from Yuji Horii. It's no surprise that Chrono Cross came up with a concept that was ripped straight from Dragon Quest 6.

I just wanted to let you know that I didn't read any of that, I won't change your mind and you won't change mine, let's move on.

You didn't read it because I'm 100% right.
