Developers do not like developing for gimmicks (Second screen thing will soon die as well)

Gamers don't care for it and considering the current privacy paranoia sweeping the nation, the device has gone from useless waste of space to something that people don't want to touch with a ten foot pole.

That's what they said about DS.... I think a second screen could make a big difference, especially for games like Mario Party.

I agree with what you say about Kinect, I don't understand Microsoft. I think with Kinect built in, it just returns more of a profit, and a lot of Americans will still buy an X-Box One over a PS4 because it's American and "good for the economy." I'm sorry, but competition is good for the economy, not greedy capitalist corporations.

I wouldn't mind Kinect if MS would stand behind it, but with Ryse being playable with a controller now......I dunno. I think Ms is trying to make this system appeal as a multi-media device. They want people to watch TV off their X-Box one, and the Kinect interface is kinda cool. I wouldn't mind owning a One with a Kinect sensor if I could play the One with the Kinect physically unplugged.

After their involvement in various scandals about e-mail security, and my bad experience with Microsoft customer service, I can't trust them anymore.

When I mentioned second screens I was talking more about the whole tablet, smart glass add on crap, but I get your point.

Also, do you really believe that people in America buy Xbox out of nationaism? I don't see that. The reason 360 took off in US is because it came out first and was cheaper, allowing it to establish itself as the dominant brand. National sentiment has nothing to do with it. I'm pretty sure American's still prefer Toyota over Ford.
