However lets look at it like this. In July I can download Halo 3 and AC 2. If I stop paying for live I keep those games. If I stop paying for plus tomorrow I am locked out of everything. Now you can talk about how much value you have gotten since 2010, but again we are comparing a service from 3 years ago to a service that hasn't even started yet. And on top of that we don't know if Microsoft is keeping this service on the Xbox One. This could be a trial run for something bigger or it could just be a thank you to players before a new generation and we never see this again. |
I'll agree with you that (at least at this point) it isn't as clear-cut as some would lead one to believe.
If I were to make a counter argument, it would be that H3 and AC2 can be picked up for almost nothing 2nd hand.
