No Dark Souls was a spiritual successor not a direct sequel

So it are pratical 2 new IP's?

Doesn't it count that they have the same mechanics, fans, same world(sort of)

 

I know technically its the same game but they are two different IPs . Sony owns the rights to Demon´s Souls.
