Personally, I don't mind bad textures if the game is good...just look at some of the Xenoblade's textures...
I don't think textures are an importat aspect of a video game and some people discuss endlessly about what version of a game has better textures, even if that doesn't affect the gameplay experience.
Now if you asked me: wouldn't you prefer Xenoblade with better textures? My answer would be yes but only because the game is good, if the game was bad, I wouldn't play it even if it had the best textures of the world.
The conclusion of all this is that I play the games that I like, even if they have bad textures
