8 was trash with only one redeeming quality. It had an amazing mini-game. The junction system went from useless to broken in the span of three hours running in a circle to get cash. Nothing like turning all the new items you can buy into high level magic to beef up your stats to godly levels. Or you just keep a status attack GF on each character and refine 300 Death. I will let you figure out how easy that makes the game. The battle system was boring and easy to break, the story was god awful, and the characters were all either extremely annoying or faded completely into the background. Worst Final Fantasy ever.
