I'd rather play it all on PC personally.
That said, the real reason is the majority of Nintendo's net income comes from publishing fees on 3rd parties rather than their own hardware of software, they just so happen to be in a unique position where their software is also insanely profitable compared to even the vast majority of 3rd parties, and almost exclusively sell hardware at a profit to boot.
