Xbox One headset compatibility confirmed; will have adapter to use Xbox 360 headset

It always annoys me when companies find the need to use proprietary ports. I mean, why? What's the advantage of doing so?

Hopefully this adapter is no more than $9.99, but I bet it'll be closer to 19.99.
