When I was younger I couldn't even get to the second island lol.Believe it sis! I'm at The Lab on the third island right now. The save point system is rubbish I agree but it's not so much of a problem since you can grind out lives on previous levels. The worst thing is honestly the checkpointing system in the levels themselves.
