It is completely necessary. Religion is the reason gay marriage is struggling to gain traction throughout the US. Surely you realize this? If not, grab a history book and start reading.

So your method of getting your voice across is through insulting religion and the people who believe in religion? Maybe you should grab a book in psychology and learn how you're only hurting your position rather than helping it.
