Since atheism isn't a belief, I wouldn't care if you made such a fallacious conflation of terms. You don't have to accept the BBT simply because you're an atheist.
If you wish to refer to commonly held theories as magic, you should probably seek further education on the matter.

A gallup poll is enough for you? I don't see how creationism equates to being delusional, indoctrinated fools who ascribe to the ideologies of bronze age jerusalem. I also assume you're throwing Judaism (and I suspect Islam) into this label as well. Nor do I see how a singular belief (especially one based in faith) makes someone unable to comprehend logic. |
Unless you're suggesting the people who participated in the poll lied about their beliefs, I can't see why you're arguing it.
Their beliefs are based upon a book dated to the Bronze age.
A faith-based belief is illogical by definition. Belief devoid of evidence is illogical and not how rational beings operate.

The irony behind this is that people of religion on this topic are happy and/or fine with this movement, yet we have you, who (I presume is) an atheist who is spewing hatred and insults. Like another poster said, grow up, and please learn to accept views other than your own without insulting others. |
I disagree.
It is completely necessary. Religion is the reason gay marriage is struggling to gain traction throughout the US. Surely you realize this? If not, grab a history book and start reading.
