Just a joke, but disolitude probably should have pointed out that DDR3 has been out for years, and as its marketshare is expected to drop next year and the year after, its production price should increase.
Meanwhile, the GDDR5 is a newer standard, and should gain market share, and as it does so, expect a decrease in cost.
