I so love when people push a false dichotomy in order to further their own agenda.  As we all know, it is physically impossible to have a great story and good gameplay in the same game.  Simply can't be done.  I think Newton made a Law about it.

Never said anything about that. But games like this have almost no replay value. I just can't take it anymore millions of shooters and  millions of story driven cinematic games this new gen. atleast it looks like it (From AAA dev's). Also you can't deny that the gameplay often is behind cause of concentrating too much on movie bullsh*t.

So, I'm assuming you haven't played The Last Of Us? 

and what did Last of Us in the gameplay department add? Nothing new, exactly.

As long as the whole experience is terrific who cares if it does not bring anything new?  But still I think the survival aspect in TLoU is really awesome and quite unique when you add it to an action adventure game in third person.
