wow, they really increased the tempo of combat. waaay faster than demon's souls and dark souls. a little too fast actually... i liked the slow deliberate pace of the originals

looks liked the significantly nerfed the damage ratio too...

but i do like how different each class looks. dual wielding looks amazing.

hmmm..

When you say damage ratio, i'm guessing your talking about the difference in damage between melee and spells?

umm.. i'm not sure what the words i wrote covey but what i mean is...

...when you get hit by an unshielded attack the amount of damage taken is quite a bit less as a percentage of your lifebar.  previously 3-6 hits would kill you.  now it's more like 5-10.  the game speed is a lot faster though so it might be a needed change cause it looks like you could get hit at a much faster rate.

i'm not sure iit makes the game any easier.   ..but it does feel a bit (to me) like the shift from killzone 2 to 3 where they tried to make things more up tempo in effort to find a wider audience.  i preferred killzone 2 personally.  i'll certainly play DS2 but for my tastes,. not sure i like the changes.

I suppose that will depend on how they have the leveling system. In the videos you can see the HP/Stamina bars are extremely long and the exact same level. That too me sounds like something that was done specifically for these videos, and demos so players can jump in easily. If it's truly like Demon/Dark Soul's leveling system then I don't expect too much of a difference.
