  • WE 4/13) 3DS: 142K  & PS3: 146K (PS3 won by 4K)
  • WE 4/20) 3DS: 178K & PS3: 139K (39K difference)
  • WE 4/27) 3DS: 154K  & PS3: 136K (18K difference)
  • WE 5/4) 3DS: 167K & PS3 130K (37K difference)
  • WE 5/11) 3DS: 138K & PS3: 120K (18K difference)
  • WE 5/18) 3DS: 130K & PS3: 126K (4K difference)
  • WE 5/25) 3DS: 139K & PS3: 131K (8K difference)
  • WE 6/1) 3DS: 129K & PS3: 129K (Tie)
  • WE 6/8) 3DS: 123K & PS3: 121K (2K difference)

 

As you can see, 3DS only slightly outsells the PS3 which was released in 2006. It is doing decent but no where near what it could be if the price was better. Again, all of Nintendo's past HH's launched at a lower price than the 3DS is currently.

Set in stone? Who says the PS4 or XB1 will kill off Wii U? The system hasn't had a game since launch and everybody is already prepared to call it a failure. 

 

ok point taken.  as I said I look at Japan numbers as VGC numbers are bogus especially since they can't track DD anymore.
