I say ditch the gamepad (make it optional) and re-introduce it with an enhanced Wiimote-nunchuk that has enough buttons/sticks that the pro controller isn't ever needed (and maybe a small touch screen, why not?) with a proper follow-up to Wii Sports or some other novel Wii entry and a reduced price point (which ditching the gamepad will help accomplish) and I'll buy it immediately.
