Kinda' hard to increase the memory since they are using a flash drive!!! To be honest I don't understand why they chose such expensive storage option for the Wii U.

HardDisk failures are not as pravelent as they used to be.  Besides I doubt it would fail in it's first 2 years.

ok, but they are still a lot more prone to fail and they are much slower than flash.
