I'm leaning toward the Wii U also. Most of my friends are on Xbox, but I have a feeling this game isn't their cup of tea.

Local multiplayer is the way to go because there's lots of teamwork in the game, so pick it up for the system better suited for that.

It must be chaotic playing online with people yelling "heal meeee", "give me money to buy LBOs, quickly", "what route are we going to take", "don't open that treasure chest yet, it has a tr- *dies by petrification beam*".
