last report I read from ballmer.... was pretty much saying he would merge win8/rt, wp8, hardware and XB into one division and retire once the transition is done... can't find the source... but that was his vision to build a more coherent ecosystem running the different windows OS products.... anyway that's what I remember and that was a couple months ago already... I think it will be good for the synergy of their product designs in the future....
