Don't regret it, from the screenshots I see why you prefer the PSP ver on the vegetation and it'd be awful if you couldn't say how you felt.
It's clear the Vita ver is more technically impressive. From the angle shown at least, the Vita version looks over complicated/populated. Same with the river scene.
I'll reserve judgement until the actual game though.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
