Posts like this show a lot of ignorance and are very common these days. They are ignorant for many reasons but mostly because you are assuming that absolutely no one wants DRM regardless of benefits, and the ones that do are missinformed, uneducated or just dumb. I am not missinformed, i know exactly how DRM works and Id like to tjink Im not dumb as I have a university degree, successful job and have made fairly smart decisions for myself in life. I would take their DRM, not because i like DRM or Im a retard, but because I see the benefits of it which outweigh the bad things about DRM. People that dont base their lives around videogaming would most likely benefit from the convenience digital only gaming will deliver, regardless of DRM. If my internet goes down for more 24 hours, ill just go read a book...go figure. Mind you I havent had internet down for more than 30 minutes for over 2 years. So while I understand why this DRM thing doesnt work for some people, and I understand why people like Joe went full retard against DRM, ot would be nice to see the other side aknowledge the fact that some people really would be better off with always on. They are not stupid, or missinformed, just have different needs and expectations for gaming... |
I disagree with bolded. And I dont mean that in a disrespectful way.
And btw im sure all of us on the forum think of ourselves in the very same way you do:
"I am not missinformed, i know exactly how DRM works and Id like to tjink Im not dumb as I have a university degree, successful job and have made fairly smart decisions for myself in life."
