Bullshit. Offline play works 100% on steam. You only require steam to activate the game. Hell even the fucking people at the shops who sell the games give these instructions very clearly. Seriously dont make some random internet rumour to be true. Steam games work 100% offline. You even trying now to bring Steam down wtf? FFS EVEN EA's ORIGINS WORKS OFFLINE!!!!
And no you can't do any of those things on steam legally. But steam is not a fucking console. Console gamers and PC gamers have different expectations. They are also completely difference types of platforms.
Just fucking wow at your last paragraph O_O are you brainwashed or something? You making as if MS have removed every aspect of DRM from their ecosystem...err no they havent. Same with PS4 DRM does not affect physcal copies it absolutely applies to digital content. I'll say it again EVERY SINGLE FEATURE MS OFFERED PRE DRM REMOVAL IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE POST DRM REMOVAL. Think about it for 5 minutes and you will realise this too.
And lets say im wrong...Im not..but lets just assume i am. If MS really wanted to implement all those extra "features" there are multiple methods of doing it. Having all those daily checks and stuff is going waaay over the top. And lets be honest here they went over board. And thats where Steam, PS4 and every other single device hasnt crossed the line. They crossed the line added some PR and you took the bait. Good for you. You the smart one obviously -_- I cant believe we are even having this discussion from one gamer to another.
