You guys replying and saying it's a negative are only proving my point. You could just as easily and logically say offering titles with abysmal sales numbers (except Deus Ex) is a negative because hey, if these games were interesting, wouldn't more people have played them? I mean, it's really a negative that a blockbuster like Halo 3 is offered instead of a niche bomb like LittleBig Karting or whatever? Or Sleeping Dogs? There are plenty of people who haven't played the games Live is offering. And they are digital and yours to keep forever, not rentals like PS+.
Really got to have a pretty petty agenda to bicker about these games. Not surprised people here are doing it though :)

Everyone that experienced Plus here agrees that Plus has better offerings. You're just being paranoid.
Anyway I really didn't try to take anything away from this. They are free games and they are well received critically, so obviously this is great. I just wanted to tell you how I disagreed with you.
Also selling better doesn't mean that the games are better. Although it is true in this case IMO.

Plus has been around for quite awhile. I would hope a backlog that big is perceived as better than 2 games MS is offering (I believe they said Fable 3 is not even part of this promotion). I got a good chuckle of out the paranoid comment, thanks for that. Nothing I have said in this thread amounts to paranoia. Hope that helps.
And I never said or implied sales means quality. It's obvious what I meant. If people are interested in a game, they will likely buy it. Low sales means people were not interested. Maybe not interested because it's a bad game, maybe not interested because it's just not their cup of tea. Little Karting could be the best karting game ever but I would still not buy it. Just not my thang. But it's just funny to me how a game that sold so poorly is being touted as part of a value package superior to games that have sold 10 million +. If the interest were there in the game, it would have sold more.
Moral of the story is for the reason you guys are crapping on this, there's an equally valid counter-argument to be made to crap on PS+.

"Really got to have a pretty petty agenda to bicker about these games. Not surprised people here are doing it though :)" I consider that being paranoid.
People are comparing this month of Plus alone to this. Not the whole thing.
Your interest argument doesn't make sense. Because it also works against Halo and AC. If someone was interested in them they would have already bought them.
Crapping on this is immature, but saying that Plus is better isn't crapping on it. People were just comparing 2 similar features.
