PlayStation 3 firmware update fix coming June 27th, promises to fix bricked systems

Probably by installing the new firmware using the ps3's safe mode.

I see.. so the system doesn't get completely bricked. Kinda like when you install a firmware on wii for a different region but you still can access most of the options and therefore still have the chance to install a good one on top of it. Glad that they can still fix their systems...
