Santa Monica this gen was two seperate divisions: Internal Team (Worked on God of War) and External Team (Consulting Group)
It has been confirmed that Santa Monica has broken up their internal team into two seperate entities. One worked on God of War: Acension which released earlier this year and will likely handle God of War from here on out.
The other one is rumored to be working on a title that possibly has elements of
-Open World
-Magic based powers
-shooters although it sounded as though they were looking at shooter experience in general and not specifically FPS or TPS, which could entail more than another rehash of the "HERPDERPITY SHOOTERFIC GENERIC SHOOTEMS X" genre.
