I wana say, "Nice Try Bill G." Just kiddin' But I do know Microsoft has much enhanced the security of the Xbox One. It is thought that is why they didn't allow a removable hard drive - something I quizzed the team about. (As hard drives are the most common computer component to fail within the first year - and usually easy to replace.) I think if you only buy game all digital you would still be able to fast swap. That is what I am planning to do - I will miss going to gamestop. :-/ Anyway, it would be sad to get a launch Xbox One and not play it.

Yeah its doubtful but crazier things have happened. Microsoft tends to be very chillaxee when it comes to security for updates they dont find appealing. For example, on windows phone, most carrier or OEM specific updates that lock things down like internet sharing or device specific exploits usually have a backdoor bypass available pretty fast.
Ill be there all digital too when it comes to game purchases, but Id love to rub it in friends faces if my xbox could do full disk installs :)
"Can your Xbox check in every 24 hours?...Hah, I didnt think so."
