Your entire point is false and misleading.

A high % of almost every used game sale goes back to a new game, especially in places like Gamestop where they are actually "trading" for new.

Used games also help new/young people get into gaming when they have very little cash. This helps future new game sales when they get to the point they can afford a new game.

Remove used gaming and you'll actually lower overall game sales.

The problem was never games being sold back.  The problem is that the only company to benifit from used games is gamestop.  The consumer, developer, and publisher all gets ripped off when that next copy is purchased which is a 10% difference ($6).  Often times used games are even more expensive than a new copy, no joke.
