True, but honeycomb was just a stepping stone to get to jelly bean (a full solution for all screen sizes) which is also becoming the solution for GoogleTV.
Also true that win8RT was solely for arm while win8 was for x86... but they already had winphone for arm. I think they would have been better off making sure win8 could run on arm AND doing their best to bring winphone8 and win8 under similar umbrella so apps flow accross.
Someing iOS and Android also need to do in regards to their Mac and ChromeOS platforms.
