I wonder how well that would've worked out. I doubt X-Rays are stable enough to travel far distances like what is described in the first paragraph. (Because that's all I read. Hey, you didn't read it all either...!)
I also wanted to mention that this could create a super cool evil doer. (Cool in an evil way, of course.)
