One is a set of classic PS2 games, the latter is a decent port of a PS3/360 Turn Based strategy.
The Vita doesn't really have much in the way of shovelware, particularly compared with other consoles.
Granted Warner Bros have put out their fair share of shovelware for the Vita, and Ubisoft have a few too (Michael Jackson Experience?) but yeah, for the most part, very little that gets a physical release isn't at least pretty good. :D
First Impressions of the Jak and Daxter trilogy are a let down. Even the game selection screen is glitched! (won't always properly change the background and/or character for the game). This game needs a patch!
Just started playing Jak and Daxter: The Precursor's Legacy, I totally get the frame rate gripes. It's playable, but running about 30% of the speed of the original 2001 PS2 game! I'm sure the graphics actually look worse than the PS2 version too! But that might just be nostalgia. It was definitely 60fps on PS2 though whereas the Vita ver is chugging along at about 20fps :(
It's such a shame because we all know the Vita is capable of more and the latter J&D games were more technically demanding, yet from all accounts perform far better.
