This game was fun. I enjoyed the pace and the story plenty. It always remained fresh because you would alternate between human enemies, and infected enemies. And boy some encounters were so intense I had to momentarily walk away from the game at times.
One thing I didn't notice until the very end of the game -despite all the hints pointing towards it throughout the game- is that Joel is a stone cold brute! He is in a sense no different from the thug AI's you encounter. Again, from the torture scenes to merciless killings... I should have picked up on what a 'bad' person he's become.
The ending was different. I can't complain. I guess it was kinda satisfying. However, it really surprised me. I was really anticipating at least one of the two would die. And I always thought it would be Ellie.
About to start survivor mode tonight. I hear it's a bitch.
