I agree that consumers will forget. But what has happened during the past few days will give Sony a "head start." As long as they capitalize on this and keep capitalizing on what they might gain in the longer run, this Microsoft fiasco wouldn't have mattered. Besides, didn't Microsoft said something along the lines of not competing with Sony this time around? I think all of these console makers are in denial.
