With PS3 finally reaching the 360 in sales, I don't think the Xbox One is going to win, but it's not going to be a one sided race anymore like it would have with the DRM on Xbox One. I think what's mainly going to happen is most Xbox fans will go to Xbox regardless of the $100 price increase. People who want a powerful next gen console for cheaper and PS4 fans will go to the PS4. Exclusives might get people to get the other as well, although most people might just get one and use the Wii U as a secondary console.
For those people who get all three or both new HD consoles, I doubt they'll play online on both now that PS4 has a paywall as well. Sony needs to really push the benefits of PS+. Do like Microsoft does with a free month of gold in each game. Include in Sony exclusives a free month of PS+ which will add to your current months. Every first party game you buy gives you another month, plus people can see the benefits to it when they get free games each month.
