Things that are made worse with todays Xbox One DRM change

1) you don't know that. Its very likely disc based saves and profiles will sync. You'll just need to bring your disc and login.
2) MS has already ended any hope for BC on its consoles. So this is a non-issue. Nintendo will likely follow suit next gen considering MSony both have.
3) Again you don't know that. You can buy digital slips for games for Nintendo consoles and I'm sure the same will exist for others... as well as just buying value based cards for redemption. Non-issue again.
4) Disc swaps... if you don't want to deal with a disc... don't buy one. All games will be available digitally. You can have the exact features you desire that way.

5) This is a massive misnomer on your end. This is why I've pulled it out from the other four.
Gamestop was a ripoff because people allowed it to be and traded/bought from them. If MS policies went through, these types of non-deals would be the ONLY choice you have as you were forced to use Gamestop/BestBuy/Amazon/Walmart/etc for trade-ins and used gaming.

However, now you have the real choice of still using person to person, Craigslist, eBay, etc. That is where the real deals are for used games anyways. Selling and buying a game is ALWAYS a better deal through person to person channels than any retailer. Better for the seller and buyer. Your want for MS policy would have destroyed this option and definitely cost resellers/used buyers more.
