I guess it doesn't matter too much to me now that I think about it though since I'll be buying most of my games digitally (the only games I'll buy physical are the one's that go on extreme sale on Black Friday and other such events).

Not really. If they want they can still install all the game or even most of the game. What is an advantage to the developers is the fact that every xbone has a hdd. With the 360 every game had to run straight from the disc since some didn't have a hdd. This won't be a problem with the xbone.
