basically they would have been crushed in pre-orders by the PS4. thats the only real reason they would change this. their plan is to make money. the DRM issues got in the way of that. so now they changed it. if they could pull anything like this off and it wouldnt effect their console sales you bet your ass they would do it in a heart beat
